What began as a small team with one ambulance has grown into a full-service EMS provider offering ground ambulance transport, event medical coverage, critical care teams, disaster response, and EMS education — all staffed by dedicated EMTs, Advanced EMTs, Paramedics, nurses, and instructors who call Nevada home.

Samuel Scheller is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Elite Medical Services, but long before he led an ambulance company, he was a young Las Vegas local who found purpose in serving others. Born and raised in Southern Nevada, Samuel began his EMS career more than a decade ago as an Emergency Medical Technician and worked his way up to Paramedic, gaining experience in hospitals, on ambulances, at special events, and everywhere in between.

In 2011, after seeing firsthand the growing need for reliable ambulance services and compassionate medical response across the Valley, Samuel founded Guardian Elite Medical Services with one goal: build an EMS company rooted in professionalism, integrity, and hometown dedication. Under his leadership, the company has expanded from a small operation into a respected multi-service provider offering ambulance transport, critical care teams, special event medicine, EMS education, disaster response, and more.

Samuel believes deeply in supporting the workforce that drives the success of Guardian Elite. He invests in training, education, and mentorship to help EMTs and Paramedics grow their careers. Whether hiring new providers or deploying resources to the field, he never forgets the responsibility that comes with serving the community he calls home.

Today, Samuel continues to guide Guardian Elite with the same values that started it all — commitment to service, pride in Southern Nevada, and a genuine belief in the people behind the uniforms.

Jason Heck serves as the Operations Manager for Guardian Elite Medical Services, overseeing daily field operations, staffing, logistics, and system readiness across Southern Nevada. With deep experience in emergency medical services, Jason brings a hands-on leadership style grounded in accountability, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to patient care.

Jason began his EMS journey as an Emergency Medical Technician, later advancing into supervisory and leadership roles in both private and public EMS systems. His time in the field shaped his understanding of what crews need to succeed — reliable support, clear communication, and a leadership team that listens and responds. Those principles guide his decision-making every day at Guardian Elite.

As Operations Manager, Jason is responsible for ensuring that Guardian Elite’s units, equipment, and personnel are ready to respond at a moment’s notice. He manages fleet deployment, scheduling, special event operations, and coordination with hospitals, partner agencies, and public safety entities. Jason takes pride in removing barriers so EMTs, Paramedics, and Critical Care providers can focus on what matters most — caring for patients.

Jason’s leadership style reflects Guardian Elite’s values: service to the community, support for frontline staff, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Whether he’s helping stand up a wildfire deployment, staffing a major event, or troubleshooting logistics, Jason works tirelessly to ensure Guardian Elite delivers professional, reliable care to the people of Southern Nevada.

Nikole Silva serves as the Education Director for Guardian Elite Medical Services, leading the development, delivery, and quality of all EMS training programs offered through the Guardian Elite Department of Education. With years of experience as an EMS provider and instructor, Nikole brings passion, professionalism, and a student-centered approach to every course she oversees.

Nikole began her career in emergency medical services as an EMT, later advancing into instructional and leadership roles. Her time in the field and the classroom shaped her belief that strong education is the foundation of strong patient care. From entry-level EMTs to seasoned Paramedics seeking continuing education, Nikole is dedicated to giving every learner the tools, confidence, and real-world preparation needed to serve their community.

As Education Director, Nikole manages instructor development, curriculum standards, accreditation requirements, compliance, and day-to-day classroom operations. She works closely with state regulators, industry partners, clinical sites, and students to ensure Guardian Elite provides the highest level of EMS instruction available in Southern Nevada.

Nikole takes pride in fostering a learning environment that is supportive, challenging, and rooted in hands-on skill mastery. Her leadership ensures that Guardian Elite graduates are well prepared for national testing — and even more prepared for what they’ll experience in the field.

Jessica Flynn serves as the Dispatch Supervisor for Guardian Elite Medical Services, overseeing the critical communications and coordination that keep ambulance operations running smoothly across Southern Nevada. With a strong background in emergency medical dispatch and field support, Jessica combines technical expertise with calm, confident leadership in even the most fast-paced environments.

Jessica began her EMS journey behind the radio, where she quickly discovered her passion for supporting frontline crews and ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate medical response. Her years of dispatch experience taught her that every phone call matters — and that great dispatchers are often the first calm voice in a crisis.

As Dispatch Supervisor, Jessica is responsible for managing day-to-day communications, training dispatch personnel, developing protocols, and ensuring seamless coordination between field crews, hospitals, event teams, and partner agencies. She plays a key role in resource deployment, real-time problem solving, and maintaining operational readiness, whether handling routine transfers or large-scale incident responses.

Jessica takes pride in mentoring emerging dispatchers and fostering a communications center built on accuracy, professionalism, and trust. Her leadership ensures Guardian Elite crews receive the support they need — and that patients receive the care they deserve — from the moment the call comes in.

Austin Covington serves as the Director of Business Development for Guardian Elite Medical Services, leading strategic growth, partnerships, and service expansion throughout Southern Nevada and beyond. With a passion for connecting people, agencies, and opportunities, Austin plays a key role in shaping the future of Guardian Elite and ensuring the company continues to meet the evolving medical needs of the communities it serves.

Austin brings years of experience in EMS operations, service development, and client relations. Before stepping into business development, he worked closely with frontline providers and support staff, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities within emergency medical services. That experience informs the strong relationships he builds — grounded in credibility, transparency, and a deep understanding of the field.

As Director of Business Development, Austin cultivates partnerships with hospitals, municipalities, event organizers, government agencies, and private organizations. He leads proposal development, contract expansion, community engagement, and new program initiatives, helping Guardian Elite grow thoughtfully while staying true to its mission.
